I've had the same problem and its been driving me crazy all week

I tried several different brokers still no joy. Then today I decided to try my laptop instead of my computer and hey presto it worked no problem first time, My lappy is on Windows 8 and my computer is windows 7 home premium.

I remember your Post at CF thread.

As a Noob it is so humiliating asking questions at times.

Something SO BASIC as dragging file to proper folder was not compiling!

Here is what I discovered and it is Dudest who pointed this out. He is experienced and was being driven insane as well by this tragic Jinx.

Most Crim Empty4 platform I just drag the MQ4 into the Experts or Experts then Indicators area and hit compile.

Well, with FinFX and Windows fucking home Pro there are glitches with certain Crim/Empty4 Platforms. Not all.

Make a Folder on your desktop and Title it "MQ4" or "Empty4" or what ever name you so choose to call it.

Drag the MQ4 file from the Download box to the new folder.

Double click on MQ4 in your new Folder.

Compile.

Drag MQ4 and your new EX4 file BACK to the Broker Platform of your choice.

And THEN pop into your Experts and/or Indicators area.

This has been such a humiliating yet enlightening experience as I was convinced that I was suffering from some strange Empty4 hoodoo.

Also, I don't want to clog up a thread with my stupid problems and annoy the more experienced folks.

Thank you to everyone and I hope this thread proves useful to someone else.
