Thanks for your help
I started going line to line on tuesday, and moved on going from every line between PA and SR1 to SR1.

Re-funded my account with $130,- tuesday and am up 2269 pips since. Mainly due to JPY buy's, I put pending buy's on every weekly line and TP at the 2nd line from there. For example;
- R2 -> R1
- MR2 -> MR1
- R1 -> P
- MR1 -> MS1
- etc.

This way I am always in 2 trades, limiting my DD and doubling the amount of pips the pair travels north. With 2 trades [$0.01/ pip] a JPY-pair the DD will be managable.
Hi Gertje,

Congrats on pip collection & thanks for info.

What I'm still finding hard to get is the correlating signals from 4H & 1H.. When I look at the JPY 4h charts I only see long signals on monday when RSI was flatlined at the bottom. So I get how you could look for similar signals on the 1h chart... but from Tuesday onwards the RSI 4h has moved away and is at the top (ob) by end if tuesday, so what tells you to keep trading long on 1h then? Or are you just using the 1h stoch & the fact that we're about the 240?

If you had the time to markup a 4h & 1h chart, I would be v. grateful.

From my own experience, I entered too early on monday morning for all the wrong reasons (caught up in yen hysteria, having missed the initial pips up while on holiday), then woke up to a big DD, entered some more (stupid), and had v. big DD by end of Monday spikes (-22%)... just managed to close them all now taking a -2.9% hit - which I'm nailing to my office wall as a reminder of what not to do... lesson learnt.... 1% per trade max - no exceptions.

Big DD doesn't help you sleep at night! :shock:

But I can't say it enough - thanks to Bob & all contributors here - excellent thread, sound theory, great system - thanks

cheers

Hi Gertje,

Are you using 10.4 templates or 10.5 ? Can you share the chart please if you don't mind.
Thank you
I look for setup's [RSI up/ down etc.] on the H4, then switch to H1 and enter pendings on the daily lines all the way up to SR1 where I TP. I don't look at the Stoch on the H1 chart.

I use Bob's 104V5 template from page 197/198 [see post 1] where I changed the colours to the original colours from 10.4 template. I'll attach a copy later, because that's on my trading VPS.

Hi,

I had the same DD and some more, killed my account on monday.

I don't look for correlation between H4 and H1, if the H4 signals it's time for me to put pendings like I did in 10.4

The new thing for me here is I don't enter the pendings on the WEEKLY PIVOTS with H4, but on the DAILY PIVOTS on H1. The distance between the lines is smaller, so more stacking and earlier TP than when trading the weekly pivots.

Trades Total: 47
Trades Won: 45
Trades Lost: 2
Max Profit: 214 pips
Max Loss: -22 pips
Avg Profit: 54 pips
Avg Loss: -13 pips

The JPY trades I just went long on every [mid]pivotline, because it's above the 240MA and the trend is strongly up [with some 'hickups'].

Hi Gertie,

Like you, i prefere Tradeentry on H1 and Daily PV.
What SL are you using for the first entry and the following trades ?

Could be CJ and the M forming on the daily..
Oh, well so much for the M on the daily. Thank you JPY for depreciating just as predicted. I closed all my positions with that last market move up and I am out with no DD. I could have hung on to some trades but the aud is making me nervous. I did have a losing week but not because of the JPY. My losses were because of my NZD trades as I lost on gbp/nzd, eur/nzd, and nzd/usa. I also had a losing trade on the gbp/chf. Those trades were losers at the 240 line. I profited on all jpy trades except aud/jpy and cad/jpy. Cad/jpy hit my SL on Monday and aud/jpy I lost 12 bucks so not crying there. All the others I ended up in profit. I have closed for the day and dont think I will take anymore trades this week. My account is down 4.7% for the week, but up 67% for the month. I am adding funds to my account and basically tripling it. I will go to a lower lot size to account size of 5 cents to every 1000 dollars so I suspect my more spectacular account increases will come to an end. I know if you can increase an account that fast you can lose an account that fast.

I expect the volatility of the market to pick up and dont want to get caught too badly on a sudden move. I am sure I will get many more suggestions on more indis for the system but I will stick with what I have. It is suiting me well. I will work on my update and look at the CSS being used on multiple TF along with the RSI 2. I think it will be a better indi than the AO is. Reacts quicker to market movement and the angle lessening gives warning that a move maybe slowing down. Have fun trading, I am going out with my wife and then ..................... who knows. :)
See you guys Monday.
Yes I am still in a NZDUSD trade from last week. But it was a good night for the YEN. I am still down from last week, but it is slowly coming back. I think last week was a wake up call for me. Good to hear you are on the right track.

At Tebis, for me , when I take a trade, I put a stop loss egual to % I am weilling to lose 0.5%. 1.0%..
or what you are confortable. depand if you use the 1hr chart, use the 10.5 daily Pivotrs and the 10.5 dailyMid pivots just to put enaugh space to give the chance at your trade; if the 4hrs chart....240 MA or 0.5%, 1.0% ..... depend your goals.

HI guy, can tell me where I can find the CSS indicator and how I can use it... Is it function from Time frame???

Thank a lot for all

In years at FF never really read this guy. Thanks for the heads up. He is excellent and his charts/templates are beautiful and simple. He also seems to have a great view on MM's and liquidity. Nice.

Latest version of 10.4 EA has me getting a little more volume up on these 10.4 trades. Hit 20/22. GBPCHF was a full stop peaker, and only significant loss. It turned after stopping me out at 240. I wasn't very restrictive, but skipped a few. I also don't take every pair possible. 2- JPY pairs is enough for me. If I don't like the look of the trade I simply set TP to BE+ and let it ride. So some of those wins are tiny. Many of the profits are also taken early, but PA or SR told me to exit so I did. Very little drawdown.

I'll up the risk a little so the percentages line up better next week. I'd like to see if we can get the same % increase with 20 trades instead of 60+. Non gambler style. ;)

Some people hate managing trades and suck at it. I love IT. Just need something to get me in so I can function as a non vampire. I find PA trading much more stimulating and better R:R, but it requires me to hit Franky and LO, which is killer to manage with work, and family in my timezone.

MM's are accumulating shorts big time on all the Yen pairs as I write.
Recon they plan the mark down on Monday, maybe this will be Tah's 'Island Reversal'
I might just open a few JPY shorts before markets close just for the hell of it.

To be honest, I traded last 4 day's without set SL, but would have jumped at the 240ma.

I made a whopping 3550 pips since tuesday, uncredible.

My dream is to trade with full lots oneday and make 100-200 pips a day.
I thinking I found à way to make this dream come true....

Now I need to build the equity to support the full lots.....
I've already got 0,2% in place.... :D
