Yes it is with the Empty4 build. Contacted Alpari and they explained that to me. With the update to build 600 though, there is not templates folder. So I'm now trying to find out from them where should custom templates be placed. Or does anyone here knows using the Empty4 build 600?

could this be the Empty4 600 build problem? have a look in journal and experts tab in terminal at bottom of window - any messages?

The templates now are under (open data folder) under file in the platform. and the indicators and expert advisers are under mql4 in the same folder. I hope this will l help

Then with the new CSS reads I will be coming up with will help you in getting those nice breakout trades. There are a lot of trading ideas to use if you get the original trend right.

thats right. If the STO7 at H4 breaks down and we use the CT-BB on M15, its easy to cut 30-60 Pips out.
So the CT-BB is for scalps with H4 signal good to.

That's right. Just do File-Open Data Folder in your Empty4 platform which must have been upgraded by your broker to the new build 600 or higher. Then open MQL4 folder to find a similar (but not the same) file structure you've been familiar with.

You will find that, because of changes in the new upgrade, some EAs and indicators might not work as they used to, not just because of the file path change, but also other inherent differences in the new build. It will be helpful for you to take a look at this thread:

In the 600 build the place where are present the directories like config, history, logs,templates ecc. is mostly different to the main Empty4 installation folder.
The only way to find out where the correct "Data folder" location is, is to read the "Journal" log of Empty4.
The second line from start reports the used Data folder.

This is my first post here. So I’d just like to say thanks to Bob for this excellent system and also thanks to all the others posting here and making this such a great community.

I’m hoping with the Empty4 update being pushed out now that the following might be useful for a lot of people having issues with Empty4 and the indicators/EA’s after the update.



[hide]As a result of the recent (Empty4) Build 600 upgrade implemented by MetaQuotes, the folders within the Empty4 folder have moved. In addition, the MQL4 language has changed, and this may have interfered with your installed Expert Advisors (EAs) and indicators.

As a result of this upgrade, you should firstly save your EAs and indicators in the new folder location, which is: Empty4 > MQL4 > Experts/Indicators.

Secondly, you will need to align your EAs and indicators with the new language to ensure they are fully functional on the updated Empty4 platform. To do this, there are two options:

Option 1: Contact your EA provider if you do not have the source code available and request an updated version of the EA.

Option 2: If you have written your own EAs or you do have the source code available, please follow these steps:
• Navigate to Tools > MetaQuotes Language Editor – a new window will appear
• Navigate to View > Navigator – the Navigator box will appear in this window (if not shown already)
• Double-click on the EA/indicator you would like to use and update – the relevant EA script will appear in the main window
• Alternatively navigate to File > Open to locate the relevant EA/indicator source code saved on your computer
• Click on Compile in the toolbar on top of the main window (or navigate to File > Compile) – a message will appear in the Toolbox window at the bottom
• Once this has completed and there are no error messages displayed you will need to close and reopen Empty4 – your EAs and indicators should now be ready to use[/hide]

Back to 10.6, EUR made sudden bullish move yesterday due to news.

can you guys list the news that is likely to have this kind of sudden move? (rendered any indicators useless)
I see not all the HIGH IMPACT news does this, so I am a little bit confused what to watch and what to ignore.

The obvious ones would be NFP and official bank rate, any others I should watch out for?

I want to change my answer. Baluda has been very kind to me and has reworked CSS several times for me so I can work on some theories. Sometimes I think he has to feel Oh no not again. However, I think I have come up with a way to read both the Daily CSS and 4H CSS on one page on each individual chart. In other words no matter what pairs you are trading you can see the CSS on the chart. Once this setup is on I think, I hope anyway, you can read this chart and know with some certainty to ride the trade and get the maximum pips from a move. In other words it will predict a possible good trade setup is coming, look to get in, and then ride the trade if it lasts or get out because it isnt or take your profit now it is a short run. I wish I wasnt leaving but if Baluda (the magician) can do this one (and there maybe some tough coding to get it to work) can get it to work, you will be given an advance notice that a possible trade is coming up. Then as the trade happens it will let you know whether to ride it or drop it. I couldnt even sleep last night when I sent copies to both Baluda and Steve, I was so excited. Finally something that gives you a chance to know to stay with a trade and take a lot of the guess work out. Those that have been suggesting of putting the 4H and Daily reads together have had a good idea. Getting them onto one chart to make an easy read was a problem I though I couldnt solve. The solution was simple, the coding maybe a night mare. Anyway here it the idea so you know where I am going with it. I leave in the morning so I probably wont see his answer until I touch down in San Fran.

Thats right, I think thats the "relative blur" of that system. For tests i run the TCO Trader EA with 10.4 Setup. This EA opens 3 times a week trades with your problem. But at the most times, the trades run into profit. If the Stoch7 at H4 is verry up and comes back, AND the system says short trend, the price comes most down. The problem sometimes are news!

And, today we have important news like NFP ....

Maybe it is a good Idea, to set the sell stop UNDER the daily Pivot, like UNDER the sweet spots.

yea, the signal is valid now (close candle 1 min ago confirms sto7 below 80 for EURAUD,EURNZD,EURCAD,EURUSD), but with the NFP who knows...might close it before the news hit even though it is not USD pairs ,just precaution..am i paranoid

Looking forward for bob H4+D1 CSS combo to filter STO signals.
