I have developed 10.6 V.3 however with a range and scalping component for lower end charts. You are not going to believe what I did with the MTF STO and combined it with STO 7 and any envelope system you want to use. I need to get all the indis updated to Empty4 6xxx first before posting a test version.alorente » Sat Mar 29, 2014 1:34 am wrote:Yes Bob. Much easier to get four singles than a home run. You know Al I really didnt get consistantly profitable until I got this MM thing down. I learned I could win 4 - 25 pip trades faster then 1 for a 100 pips. Then if I had 10 I had a 250 pip day which is almost impossible on 1 trade. I have done it but I could count that many on two hands over 8 years. Yet 250 pip days are common almost every week of my trading life.
My highlight days are when I break a 1000 pips which with 10.4/10.6 trades I have done many times in the last year. Almost 1500 pips this week, and about 1/2 was using the TMA range trades I started the week with. Gonna play with that some more but 10.4/10.6 trades when the market is trending and TMA or Zenturo Gann, will have to decide later, for range trades completes the system. I now can trade with complete confidence over the course of a currency move up or down. 11 of my 13 weeks trading this year have been profitable. Had to take out some losers on those CAD moves earlier in the year. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to teach TMA trading. I am sure these guys have learned a lot. Settle into a system, use good MM and you will be profitable. Again if you are getting a signal and you are afraid to trade then lower your lot size to the point you are not afraid to trade. Anyway a good week to end the month. Nicely recovered from week 2 of March being a loser and will end the month with another profitable month. Anyway gonna play some more with this range thing and making it solid then hopefully write my last booklet.
Question: When you trade your system, do you watch H4 charts or H1? I have been watching the H1s but I think I like your system better with H4.
Have a nice weekend !!!

I totally agree... This is making a big difference to my understanding of the indi. I can´t specify exactly why, but it does...Mike » Sun Mar 30, 2014 11:08 am wrote:Could this be implemented as an option in the CSS Indi? Might be easier to use.boldtrader » Fri Mar 28, 2014 9:15 am wrote: ....
One process that has helped me tremendously is to draw vertical lines on each period of the H4 and Daily CSS. From this simple step, I can monitor the change and progress of the various currencies. It is a visual tool to help me monitor the slope change....

Of course, this calculation of unseen bars is to be avoided. It would be even better to add a feature to the dummie lights indi that could display two little horizontal lines showing where the 240/60 levels are. Something like this:Pedigree » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:27 pm wrote:Thank you for this great idea Zen.zentauro67 » Thu Mar 27, 2014 6:32 pm wrote:For clean charts lovers. (Risk of too many lines after TMA arrival)
To be honest, the only thing I need from 240 and 60 LWMA when using TMA bands is to know the level where they are (just to be ready for the dummie lights changes) and a little slope to see towards where they are moving. So I have muted them letting only visible the ending point. Very useful also in lower timeframes as is a MTF moving average.
As it is, the entire MA is loaded even if you make only buffer2 visible. Wouldn't it be better to give buffer1 a maxbars option so you can just set it to 0 if you don't want it. That way, it's not loaded at all and there's a lot less processing for the CPU. Please consider.

Please read the article I sent earlier. Things to note:nanningbob » Mon Mar 31, 2014 5:26 am wrote:Neither the new Empty4 I downloaded and went through all the updates and my Empty4 that was working Friday is now working with the updates. With 6.xx, the MQL folder is now in:
C:\Users\<User_account_name>\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Instance_id
If you re-install Empty4 over an existing instance, you get a new instance_id, so the directory will change!!! It will appear as all your files are gone.
You need to understand the concept of the new /portable switch. This prevents MQL folder being installed under C:\Users\<User_account_name>\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Instance_id
