Anyway a good week to end the month. Nicely recovered from week 2 of March being a loser and will end the month with another profitable month. Anyway gonna play some more with this range thing and making it solid then hopefully write my last booklet.

Question: When you trade your system, do you watch H4 charts or H1? I have been watching the H1s but I think I like your system better with H4.

I am a 4H chart man. That is because of my work schedule I can only check my charts about every 4H. I have developed 10.6 V.3 however with a range and scalping component for lower end charts. You are not going to believe what I did with the MTF STO and combined it with STO 7 and any envelope system you want to use. I need to get all the indis updated to Empty4 6xxx first before posting a test version.

That sounds right up my alley. Can´t wait to try it...

I totally agree... This is making a big difference to my understanding of the indi. I can´t specify exactly why, but it does...

I totally agree... This is making a big difference to my understanding of the indi. I can´t specify exactly why, but it does...

I felt the same and added them manually, after changing TF they disappeared......

As it is, the entire MA is loaded even if you make only buffer2 visible. Wouldn't it be better to give buffer1 a maxbars option so you can just set it to 0 if you don't want it. That way, it's not loaded at all and there's a lot less processing for the CPU. Please consider.

Of course, this calculation of unseen bars is to be avoided. It would be even better to add a feature to the dummie lights indi that could display two little horizontal lines showing where the 240/60 levels are. Something like this:

Going for UPDATE 634 oh boy oh boy .............. sheeesh ............ I downloaded a fresh Empty4 copy and I dont see the MQL ?? folder in this new version I just downloaded. Am I missing something??

Neither the new Empty4 I downloaded and went through all the updates and my Empty4 that was working Friday is now working with the updates. Sooooooooooooooooo ................ hope the markets are quiet and I am not missing anything.

Neither version is showing the MQL folder so I cant add anything. Dang.

What is happening with the fresh download is it says current version 632 new version 633 and then it is trying to download build 615 update which of course it is not going to work soooooooooo......... I wait til its done restart the computer on command and we start the whole process over again with live update to build 615 when I restart the Empty4.

Please read the article I sent earlier. Things to note:

With 6.xx, the MQL folder is now in:

C:\Users\<User_account_name>\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Instance_id

If you re-install Empty4 over an existing instance, you get a new instance_id, so the directory will change!!! It will appear as all your files are gone.

You need to understand the concept of the new /portable switch. This prevents MQL folder being installed under C:\Users\<User_account_name>\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Instance_id
